| In order to satisfy the audit requirements
of the Charities Act, the decision was made in 1995 to place the
monies in a special fund set up within the Lothian University Hospitals
NHS Trust Endowment Fund.
This allowed the monies to be correctly audited,
but the expending of the monies is under sole control of the Trustees
of F.A.C.E.
